Check official Microsoft release and hardware information before purchasing Windows. Predictions about a future Windows name, price, release date or free upgrade are not purchase entitlements.
Use official release and download information
Start with Microsoft’s Windows download page. Confirm the version offered, known issues and download architecture. This guide does not sell or promise access to an unannounced Windows version.
Check the device first
Windows 11 needs compatible 64-bit hardware, TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot capability, among other requirements. Use Microsoft’s specifications and PC Health Check guidance. Purchasing a key does not bypass those requirements or make an unsupported installation supported.
Match the edition and the license
Check the installed edition under Settings → System → Activation. Home and Pro are different editions. An upgrade offer may require an existing qualifying license. Confirm the device allowance, license channel, region restrictions and transfer rights of the exact offer.
Keep expectations clear
A perpetual Windows license is not a promise of free future Windows versions or indefinite security updates. Review the listed product and its Microsoft lifecycle before ordering. Visit our catalog for availability and the Refund Policy for the 180-day guarantee.
