What personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is protected.
The short version
We collect the minimum needed to sell you a license and support you afterwards: your name, email address and order details. Payment details are processed through the payment provider used at checkout over encrypted connections. We do not sell personal data.
What we collect and why
- Order data (name, email, products purchased): to deliver your license key by email, provide support and comply with accounting law.
- Support correspondence: to resolve your questions and improve our help materials.
- Basic analytics (pages visited, aggregate statistics): to understand what customers need and improve the store.
Payments
Payments are processed by established third-party payment providers. Our payment integration may provide payment status, transaction references and limited payment-method details used for order verification. Do not send full card numbers, CVVs or banking passwords to support.
Transactional emails (order confirmation, license delivery, support replies) are sent to every customer. Marketing emails are sent only where you have opted in, and every one contains an unsubscribe link that works.
Your rights
You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your data where we are not legally required to retain it (accounting records, for example, have statutory retention periods). Write to support@softwareinstore.com and we will handle your request promptly.

Cookies, service providers and retention
The store uses cookies and similar storage for sign-in, cart contents, checkout and security. Analytics, where enabled, help us understand site usage. Service providers supporting hosting, payments and email may process the information needed to provide those services. We retain order and support information for fulfilment, accounting, fraud prevention and dispute handling, and delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed, subject to applicable recordkeeping obligations.
Browser settings can limit cookies; blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in or checkout. Contact support@softwareinstore.com for privacy questions or requests. If additional advertising or tracking services are introduced, the relevant collection and choices must be disclosed before use.
